High School cheerleaders told no Bible verses on signs
UPDATE: Cheerleaders legal rights restored
Late last Friday (Sept. 21) afternoon, a judge granted a Temporary Restraining Order against Kountze Independent School District so that the cheerleaders can continue to encourage their football team with spirited banners and signs.
The cheerleaders were represented by Liberty Institute, a Christian-based, pro-family legal group.
Your email will be sent to Texas Association of School Boards Executive Director James Crow. A copy will be sent to Kountze Independent School District Superintendent Kevin Weldon.
